News of the Will.i.am and Britney Spears collaboration just broke, along with the release of the new single. In all the publicity Will.i.am has done for the song, here’s the most important thing he said:
“I see the same light, the same joy, the same love and passion… She [Britney] is an amazing person.”
Nice compliment, right? Especially amongst the sea of tabloids eager to tell us what a train wreck she is. Here’s the most important thing to know about what Will.i.am said: His quote tells us everything about who he is as a person.
Does Will.i.am look at Britney and see a train wreck as the tabloids would have us believe? No, he sees an amazing person, full of light, joy, love, and passion. Why? Because he’s full of light, joy, love, and passion. It’s easy for him to see them in another person.
